All Year Cooling Careers HVAC Hiring Steps

The All Year Cooling team will review your credentials. The position will determine what specific qualities we are looking for (see careers requirements) but we will review your experience and assess which position would be an accurate fit for you.
If qualified, we’ll give you an interview. All Year Cooling is a family owned business and we need to evaluate you in person to determine if you are a good fit for the team!
If you are a good fit for the All Year Cooling team, we’ll bring you back in for training. Depending on your position, training will vary. Regardless, you will first shadow a technician, dispatcher, bill collector, etc, in the appropriate setting to observe the dynamics of your position. This is the perfect time to absorb daily tasks and the various duties you will be undertaking in your new role.
After shadowing, you will be trained by an All Year Cooling team member for your specific role. This is a comprehensive training that involves the ins and outs of your position. For example, a technician trainee will be rehearsed on parts, brands and specific features of AC units. After the comprehensive orientation, you will be taught the accurate procedures in each repair, maintenance or installation setting. As a parts manager, you will most likely need to be trained on the ins and outs of each product as well as Quickbooks software. Regardless of your position, All Year Cooling is committed to providing the best experience for all of our clients. The training process also includes a sector about educating customers and the All Year Cooling customer service way.

Do you have HVAC experience?
Depending on the position, HVAC experience is not required, due to our training process, but is highly esteemed. Any experience in the industry is useful and will expedite your transition into being part of the All Year Cooling team.
Do you have any knowledge of HVAC components, installation or repair?
Just like people shop for the perfect AC unit that will work efficiently and save them money, we shop for the perfect candidates to install them. When shopping for a new heating or cooling system, lots of research goes into finding the right unit with the perfect features. Unfortunately, these features are no good if the unit isn’t running properly, therefore, we are looking for candidates who have a broad understanding of the HVAC industry.
Do you have any brand experience?
Brands include various features specific to their product, making it lucrative to have experience installing, repairing or maintaining these units. Knowledge of brand’s parts and features make the process run smoother, more quickly and create a better customer experience for our clients, All Year Cooling’s #1 priority.
Do you have any references from past employers?
HVAC experience is preferred, but any reference from previous employers is a good reflection of character. We want to know you will be a hard-working and responsible employee.
